Winner Team Emotion Intermediate performed an energetic program skating to the strong rhythm of “Moulin Rouge” music. The new team just formed last year proved themselves worthy of the winner title with intricate transitions from one element to another and well-synchronized jump. Judges called their travelling element and synchronized spins at Level 4. They skated clean and won title with 61.24 points.

Yamabiko Starland also delivered an enjoyable performance for audience. They kept their program “La La Land” from last year. Having become familiar with the music, they skated with marked confidence and well-timed synchronicity among skaters. They scored 58.81 this time which was an improvement from 56.87 achieved at the Japan National this February 2026.

The competition on 22 August 2026 was not the end. The synchro competition of the 2026 Tokyo Summer Figure Skating Competition will continue on 12 September 2026, when Japanese Synchro 9 teams will debut for the first time at a competition.
